Kumalbalgarh Fort is around 75 kms from Udaipur. There are two routes to visit this place. We went from Ranakpur to Kumbalgarh.
The drive is along the village roads and it is quite scenic. We even stopped at a couple of water bodies to relax and take some photographs.
There is nothing much to see on top of the fort. It takes 20 – 25 minutes to climb the fort. The fort is good for photography and view points of the landscape.

There is a sound and light show in the evening. But we did not wait as we had to leave. 10 minutes away is Kumbalgarh wildlife sanctuary. The jeep safari costs Rs. 1800 per vehicle and upto 4 persons can go. The timing in the afternoon is from 3PM to 5 PM.
