β Best Time β October to December: Cool, dry and clear skies. The most comfortable time for sightseeing, outdoor attractions and the famous Symphony of Lights. Peak season.
π Good Time β January to March: Cool and dry with fewer crowds. Slightly chilly but very pleasant for walking and exploring the city.
β οΈ Avoid β June to September: Hot, humid and typhoon season. Typhoons can disrupt flights and outdoor plans. Heavy rain and high humidity make sightseeing uncomfortable.
π‘ Tip: Hong Kong is a year-round city destination β shopping, food, and indoor attractions are always available. Lantau Island and outdoor sights are best enjoyed OctoberβDecember when the weather is clear and cool.
Day 1 β Hong Kong
Take a flight from your city to Hong Kong. Arrive in Hong Kong by noon. Pickup from the airport & proceed to the hotel for check-in.
Check-in at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel. Visit Disneyland Theme Park.
Day 2 β Disneyland
Visit Disneyland Theme Park.
Proceed to the hotel in Hong Kong city for check-in in the evening.
Day 3 β Hong Kong
Explore the following places:
- Victoria Peak, Sky Terrace, Madame Tussauds β Hong Kong’s highest point, with a 360Β° observation deck & wax museum
- The Tram to Victoria Peak β Historic funicular railway offering scenic views on the climb up the Peak
- Hong Kong Science Museum β Interactive museum with hands-on exhibits across science & technology
- Observation Wheel β Waterfront Ferris wheel with panoramic views of Victoria Harbour
- Symphony of Lights β Show by cruise β Nightly multimedia light & laser show viewed from the harbour
Day 4 β Macau
Day trip to Macau by ferry. Explore the following sights:
- Ruins of St. Paul β 17th century church facade, the only remnant left after a fire
- Monte Fort β Fort with rooftop park with cannons & skyline views
- Macau Fisherman’s Wharf β Harbour-front entertainment complex
- Senado Square β Town square surrounded by cafes & restaurants
Return to Hong Kong by evening.
Day 5 β Hong Kong
Explore the following sights in the Lantau Island Tour:
- Tai O Village β Traditional fishing village known for its stilt houses over the water
- Boat Ride to watch Dolphins β Boat trip to spot the rare pink Chinese white dolphins
- Ngong Ping Big Buddha β Giant bronze seated Buddha statue atop Lantau’s hills
- Cable Car β One-way β Scenic cable car ride over Lantau’s mountains & sea
- Po Lin Monastery β Buddhist monastery beside the Big Buddha, known for its incense-filled halls
Return to hotel by evening.
Day 6 β Return
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Visit the following sights:
- Kowloon Park β Green oasis in the city with gardens, an aviary & sculpture walk
- Kowloon-Canton Railway Station Clock Tower β Historic red-brick clock tower, the last remnant of the old railway station
- Avenue of Stars β Waterfront promenade honouring Hong Kong film stars, with harbour views
Take evening flight back to your destination.
