✅ Best Time — April to October: Dry season with sunny skies, low humidity and calm seas. Ideal for beaches, Nusa Penida, water sports, and outdoor trekking including Mount Batur. Peak season.

👍 Good Time — March & November: Shoulder months with fewer crowds and lower prices. Some rain possible but generally still enjoyable.

⚠️ Avoid — December to February: Wet season. Heavy daily rain especially in Ubud and the highlands. Seas can be rough making boat trips to Nusa Penida less reliable.

💡 Tip: Ubud and inland Bali receive more rain than the southern beaches year-round. If you visit in the wet season, the rice terraces and waterfalls are at their most lush and dramatic — but pack a good rain jacket!
