Andaman Trip (7 Days/ 6 Nights)

Havelock Island | Neil Island | Scuba Diving | Whitesand Beaches

The Andaman Islands form an archipelago in the Bay of Bengal. It is home to the Andamanese people who have had little contact with any other people.

Day 1:

Arrive in Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. Proceed to hotel for check-in.

Cellular Jail

Cellular Jail, also known as Kala Pani, was a colonial prison in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The prison was used by the British especially to exile political prisoners to the remote archipelago. Many notable dissidents such as Batukeshwar Dutt, Yogendra Shukla and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, among others, were imprisoned here during the struggle for India’s independence.

Evening attend a sound & light show at the Cellular Jail.

Day 2:

After breakfast, take a private ferry to Havelock Island. Check-in at your resort.

Radhanagar Beach, Havelock Island

Havelock Island is one of the largest of the islands that comprise a chain of islands to the east of Great Andaman. This island is named after a British General, Sir Henry Havelock.

Radhanagar Beach on the western coast is one of the most popular beaches on Havelock. You can also explore Elephant Beach.

Travel time: 1.5 – 2.0 hours

Day 3:

Experience Scuba Diving and spend the rest of the day exploring the island.

Kala Pathar Beach

Day 4:

After breakfast, take a ferry to Neil Island. Check-in at your resort.

Laxmanpur Beach

Neil is a tiny but beautiful island located to the south of the Andamans. The settlers named the beaches after mythical characters of the epic Ramayana – Bharatpur, Laxmanpur, Sitapur & Ramnagar. The island, with its relaxed vibes and long, deserted beaches is a place to chill out after the bustle of Havelock. You can walk the whole island in about 2 hours.

Sitapur Beach

Day 5:

Take a ferry to Port Blair. Explore Cellular Jail, Samudrika Museum, Anthropological Museum Ross Island.

Day 6:

Barathang is located 100 kms away from Port Blair. This island has beautiful beaches, mangrove creeks, mud-volcanoes and limestone caves. This passes through the tribal areas where the native Andamanese, the Jarawa tribes reside.

Return flight back home.
